Important Considerations:

  • A notary must witness the signature and ensure the document is signed willingly by the person whose signature is being notarized.

  • Notaries cannot notarize documents that are incomplete or have white-out, and they cannot notarize vital records.

  • Some documents, like wills and powers of attorney, may have specific legal requirements depending on the jurisdiction, so it's always best to consult with legal counsel.

LEGAL DOCUMENTS

Affidavits: Sworn statements used in legal proceedings. Powers of Attorney: Documents granting someone the authority to act on another's behalf. Wills: Legal documents outlining how a person's assets should be distributed after death. Trusts: Legal arrangements for managing assets for a beneficiary. Court Documents: Documents related to legal proceedings, such as motions or orders. Guardianship Agreements: Documents establishing legal guardianship of a minor.

REAL ESTATE DOCUMENTS

Deeds: Documents transferring ownership of real property. Mortgages: Documents securing a loan against real property. Lease Agreements: Documents outlining the terms of a property rental. Purchase Agreements: Documents outlining the terms of a property sale.

FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS

Loan Documents: Documents related to loans, including promissory notes and loan agreements. Financial Statements: Documents summarizing a person's or company's financial position. Investment Agreements: Documents outlining the terms of an investment.

PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION
DOCUMENTS

Passport Applications: Documents required for obtaining a passport. Certain Immigration Forms: Documents related to immigration procedures.

OTHER DOCUMENTS
